The Answer

In the dark of night, John Reeve finds himself in his wife Lisa's apartment. He can't see anything, but he can hear her breathing and smell her perfume. He can't remember why she left him, but he knows he needs to do something. In a rush of feeling, he walks over to the bed and strangles Lisa. The room remains the same, filled with the scent of her hair. As he hangs over her, the silence is overwhelming. Then, the phone rings, breaking the silence and making him shudder.
