So here's the thing.
Writer Number One – a slightly pretentious name, I know – is a wholly owned subsidiary of the writer known elsewhere as Rohan Candappa.
As Rohan Candappa I've had 16 books published and sold over a million copies. If people have heard of me it's mainly because of 'The Little Book Of Stress' - a book that told you how to get MORE stress in your life and that has sold, to date, over 500,000 copies.
So, to a certain extent, I know how conventional publishing works.
But I don't know how 'Sounded' works. It strikes me as a new way for writers to get work out there. That can only be a good thing.
But beyond that, maybe it is also a new creative landscape to be explored. And if it is a new landscape, whose parameters and possibilities haven't been set yet, why not try to exist as a writer in that landscape in new way?
And that's what Writer Number One is all about.
It's an exploration thing. It's a possibilities thing. And it's a 'I don't really know what I'm doing but I'm doing it any
and so much more...
