British author Ian C Douglas is best known for his YA science-fiction series ‘The Zeke Hailey Adventures’. The first in the series won the 2020 Eyelands Award. He writes short stories in the speculative genre, including ‘Haunting of the Jabberwocky’, the winner in the Gravity Awards 2021. After teaching in East Asia for many years, Ian has won the odd contest for travel memoir. He also accepts commissions, everything from apps to children's stories.
Ian mentors emerging writers, runs creative writing workshops and visits schools. As Theatre Editor for Left Lion Magazine, he reviews a wide variety of drama and has himself had a radio play brodacast in America.
He graduated with an MA in Creative Writing (Distinction) and is a founding member of the Nottingham Writers Studio. Ian appeared as guest-of-honour at Malta Festival of the Literary Stars in 2019.
