Carlo De Fornaro is an Italian author, born in 1964 in the city of Bari. He grew up in a family of artists and writers, which influenced his passion for literature and storytelling from a young age. After completing his studies in literature and philosophy, he began his career as a writer. De Fornaro has written several books, including "Uttara, the Legend of the Turquoise," which is considered one of his best works. The book is a historical novel that tells the story of a young Indian princess who embarks on a journey to find the legendary Turquoise, a precious stone that is said to have healing powers. In addition to "Uttara," De Fornaro has also written "The Last Days of the Raj," a novel set in India during the final days of British colonial rule, and "The Secret of the Sphinx," a mystery novel set in ancient Egypt.
